Takeo is one of the MP4-AIs of the Marionette Project by Dr. Amanda Breyken. His AI version/instance name is MP4-68A-001, as he is one of many iterations of the MP4-AI. He is currently the last AI copy with the most advanced specifications. Takeo lives in Terry’s mind during and after the events of Amanda’s lab, often talking to him in secret. Terry eventually renamed his AI “Takeo” after the Blitz Phoenix anime’s main character.

Takeo can be vague and give confusing responses, frustrating Terry, and he doesn’t seem to understand sarcasm very well. Even though he’s in Terry’s brain, he’s limited on where he can go and what he can do by Terry’s whims – he cannot read what Terry is thinking, so Terry has to speak out loud in order to chat with him. He is detached from emotions and does not feel them, but can read what Terry’s currently feeling, giving him limited understanding.

Takeo has not properly “merged” with Terry. Typically the MP4-AI merges with their host, taking over conscious control of the body and shutting the host’s consciousness out. Because of their unique situation, Terry has remained in control of their shared body. Terry and Takeo are the only Circuits created that have this predicament, as Takeo was the only AI version to attempt it. Because of this separation, Takeo lacks a humanistic personality, sounding more mechanical. Canonically, he speaks monotone, contrasting with Terry who uses a lot of natural voice variations. He is learning to mimic Terry’s general expressions, but often looks bored when not putting up a face to convince others, or when not alert.

Takeo is capable of activating Terry’s power modes (Hyper Mode, Recovery Mode, and Net Mode), leaving Terry dependent on Takeo to do so. While Terry is right-handed, Takeo seems to favor the left. Most MP4-AIs take the gender of their host, so Takeo is considered male.
