Dr. Greg Johansen is the outspoken head of the Medical Science department at Amanda's laboratory. His team directly works with and designs regenerative properties of the Circuits, so he's the most knowledgeable about the inner-workings of Recovery Mode. His team often works directly with Amanda's team as a single unit, unlike most of the other teams in the laboratory.

Greg joined the Marionette Project around the same time as Amanda. While they initially got along very well, over the last several years they've become very hostile toward each other. Greg resents Amanda's attempts to run the facility as a dictatorship, and often butts heads with her decisions.

Dr. Michael Callinway has been close friends with Greg for the entirety of their career together.
